Self-Care is Biblical- Tips for Dealing with Anxiety

Something I recently heard in my Biblical Psychology class is that self-care is biblical. This revelation was so interesting to me even though it was only briefly mentioned by my professor. I also began to think about how the Bible contains several passages on anxiety and I wanted to look into how they related. I decided to share with my growth group these ideas and I wanted to put together what I shared in a blog post for others to see and share with someone who may need it. Because of this, I hardly try new things or do things outside of my comfort zone. So when I thought about starting something new, it was hard for me to think of something that I would actually enjoy that I don't already do.      Typically when the phrase "start something new" or "try something new" is said, I think of crazy things like skydiving or eating a strange food. But after pondering this quote for awhile, I realized that starting something new doesn't have to be crazy and exotic. It can be as simple as saying hell...
